About Us
Maple Lake Eastside Campground sits on the eastern shore of Maple Lake in Mentor, Minnesota — a community in Itasca County where the North Woods still feel wild.
We offer a small, peaceful selection of campsites shaded by mature trees. Whether you're here for a long weekend or a quiet week, our campground is designed for people who value stillness over spectacle.
There are no RV hookups, no store, no Wi-Fi — and that's exactly why folks come here. The lake is close enough for a morning of fishing, and the woods are close enough to hear nothing but wind and birds.
Campsites
Shaded sites nestled among pines and birch, perfect for tent campers seeking a peaceful night under the stars. Each site offers enough room for a tent and a small fire ring.
Spacious pull-through and back-in sites suitable for RVs and travel trailers. Sites are set back among the trees for privacy and shade.

Getting Here
Mentor is located in north-central Minnesota, roughly between Grand Rapids and Moose Lake. From Grand Rapids, take Highway 371 south, then east on local roads toward Mentor. We're on the east side of Maple Lake, easy to find once you're in town.
